Sumatra Indo Fair Trade

This amazing coffee is grown by members in the ARISARINA COOPERATIVE. We had the rare opportunity to purchase a few bags of this Grade 1 Gayo. This semi washed process coffee is grown high in the mountains on a beautiful Sumatran island.  

Along with the deep full body of this cup, the sweet notes of Sumatra are dark and rich. This fresh crop of Fair Trade beans has all the characteristics you would expect -- low acid, flashes of sweet, bourbon-like complexity, herbal notes, spice, smooth, rich, great lingering aftertaste.
